Line charts are great for continuous data specially pattern of change along a time series for example performance over time.

We want Sales over time for three categories (Furniture, Office Supplies, Technology). We also want Profit over time for these three categories. The chart needs to be capable of highlighting one category and also switching between Sales and Profit.

By creating a Swapping Parameter, Making the Axis Title dynamic, and Creating a Highlight Parameter, we may achieve the goals of this project.

Profit while Office Supplies is highlighted.

Profit while Technology is highlighted.

Sales while Office Supplies is highlighted.

Sales while Furniture is highlighted.

We also want customized tooltips to be responsive based on the selection of Sales or Profit.
